There may be 1.2 trillion Earth-sized planets in the Milky Way!

It's estimated there are 100 to 400 billion stars in the Milky Way. That would equate to there potentially being 100 billion to 1.2 trillion Earth-sized planets in our galaxy alone. There are possibly 70 sextillion stars in the observable universe, so there could be as many as 70 to 210 sextillion Earth-sized planets in our universe! Of course we don't know the number but these are the best guesses with today's technology and research.
